Régi történet, van már 20 éves is, de tanulságos!
Május volt, amikor nyílik a gyöngyvirág! Sokadmagammal, gyerekekkel elindultunk a Bükkbe gyöngyvirágot szedni.
Szép, napsütéses, meleg nap volt.
Fantasztikusan jó volt a fák árnyékában gyalogolni, belélegezni a tavasz illatát, hallgatni a madarak csicsergését! A Bükkalján, az erdő elején volt egy akkor még szabadon megközelíthető forrás, egy tisztás oldalában, a hely neve Vízfő. Először oda igyekeztünk egy kiadós tízóraira. Jót pihentünk, játszottunk a gyerekekkel, s utána kellően feltöltődve, nekivágtunk a hegyoldalnak, vártak ránk a gyöngyvirágok!
Otthon mindenkinek megígértük indulás előtt, hogy több csokor virágot hozunk, csak úgy a vázába, illetve édesanyának, aki fejfájás csillapító csodaszert készített minden évben a gyöngyvirág virág részéből! Egyszer csak, különösebb átmenet nélkül, teli lett a levegő gyöngyvirág illattal, „harapni lehetett”! És a látvány, egy egész hegyoldal teli volt a zöld levelek közül kikandikáló illatos virágokkal. Nekiláttunk virágot szedni a fák árnyas hűsében! Versenyeztünk, hogy ki szedi meg legelőször a beígért csokrokat! Hát persze, hogy Feri és Anita lett a győztes! Szépen elrendeztük a virágokat a kosarainkban és elindultunk hazafelé!
Egyszer csak az egyik kislány, Ági elkezdte vakargatni a karját, mondván, hogy valami fekete van a bőrében, nem is egy, ami korábban nem volt ott, megnéztük, atyaég nem csak a karján, de a combján és a nyakán is ott voltak a fekete valamik... Ekkor nyilallt a tudatunkba, hogy kullancsokat gyűjtöttünk be, nemcsak Ági, valamennyien! És nem volt nálunk semmi, sem alkoholos vattapamacs, sem egy kullancs kiszedő, amivel eltávolíthattuk volna ezeket a veszélyes kis „bűnözőket” a bőrünkből. Megbeszéltük a gyerekekkel, hogy ne nyúljanak a bőrükhöz, fél óra alatt hazaérünk, és anyuka mindenkit megtisztít az élősködőktől! Azért mi, felnőttek, tele voltunk bűntudattal és aggodalommal, eszünkbe jutott, hogy akár agyhártyagyulladás is lehet a vége!
A hazavezető félóra, egy örökkévalóságnak tűnt! Hazaérve, először vízbe tettük a virágokat, mindenki örült, aki kapta, utána jött a töredelmes beismerés, hogy nem úgy értünk haza, ahogy elindultunk! Kezdődött a kullancseltávolítás! Hál’ Istennek mindenki megúszta, kivéve engem! Az egyik combomba olyan mélyen befészkelte magát egy kullancs, hogy csak sebészkéssel lehetett eltávolítani, szerencsére mellékhatás nélkül!
Akkor valamennyien megfogadtuk, hogy kullancskiszedő nélkül soha nem indulunk többé gyöngyvirágozni az erdőre! Kis helyen elfér a hátizsákban, az elsősegély táskában, s gyorsan segít eltávolítani ezeket a hívatlan vendégeket!
